C5 are a 6-piece, mainly covers, band, playing songs from the 1960s to the present everything from David Bowie to George Ezra by way of The Doobie Brothers and The Pretenders and on to Amy MacDonald and Jason Mraz. We’re based in Cottenham and fairly well-seasoned veterans of local pubs and venues, and a few outdoor events.
C5 are Jo Brass on lead vocals, Andrea Thomson on backing vocals, Dave Bradley on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Rich Blakesley on lead guitar, Roger Brass on bass guitar and backing vocals, Adam Stewart on drums and percussion.
C5 has its roots in an Arts Night initiative started on 22nd April 2012 when a few of us gathered in the reverberant main hall of the local community centre to strum a few chords and exercise our vocal folds. We eventually started showcasing a few of our favourite songs and originals at events in and around the area.
